I love this stuff! I’ve used it for mildewed towels, shower mold, and most recently some disgusting beach sandals. I couldn’t ditch the awful stink, tried vinegar, oxiclean, and baking soda. Finally, this stuff did the trick. No smell at all now, my sandals are saved! – Miriam
It was time to sell the rental property and invest the money elsewhere. I was horrified to see the condition of the carpets – particularly the 6-year old basement carpet which looked like the sole occupant had driven a tractor through there on a regular basis. I thought the only choice I had was to replace the carpets throughout the house, but the cheapest bid of $7500 forced me to re-consider cleaning them. I tried Redox and found the results to be unexpectedly impressive. The bedroom carpets need re-working several times, with the addition of a bit of dish soap, but the main basement area and basement stairs came clean – almost to their original condition – after the first go-over. It’s possible that because there was only one person living down there (plus several dogs, I gather) that there wasn’t much wear and tear – which can make a carpet harder to clean – just dirt, but nevertheless, seeing all that filth come up after just one use of OdorClean, and then further improvement with a second round encouraged me to use it on the 20-year old berber carpet in the family room upstairs. It worked really well there too. I went over that 3 times and each time an amazing amount of dirt came up. The smell is a bit vinegary, but that doesn’t last long. It’s not a wonder product, but it’s pretty dang close in my experience. – Isabel
